Bringing Impact-Oriented Projects to Life

CrossPlex Village (Phase I) becoming a reality is highly unlikely had not BWC Consulting been engaged on the project. The firm served as quarterback in identifying and securing $21 million in federal New Market Tax Credit financing, which allowed the bold and ambitious CrossPlex Village vision to come to fruition. As a result, in 2018 the initial phase of CrossPlex Village will bring a 101-room Comfort Inn & Suites hotel, a Starbucks Commercial Center that includes a restaurant, and a collection of eateries to the western area of Birmingham, AL – an area in much need of a boost in economic activity. BWC Consulting has served as an invaluable partner in attending to detail while also keeping the big picture in mind and executing a thoughtful plan of action for this project.

Rocky Mount, NC looks forward to the completion of its Epicenter for Health, Wellness, and Sports. This facility will serve as a community asset that will include a federally qualified health center (FQHC) that will provide important health services such as highly reduced and affordable mammograms for women economically disadvantaged women. We cannot thank BWC Consulting for its diligent and persistent work behind-the-scenes to bring more than $6 million in NMTC subsidy funding to the project and ensure that the $38 million facility become a reality. BWC Consulting has a stellar track record and the City of Rocky Mount is fortunate to have partnered with the right firm, on the right project, at the right time!

Thanks to the amazing talent of BWC Consulting, Novus Advanced Manufacturing recently closed on $17 million in financing for the expansion of our facility and operations. Using its deep knowledge of the federal New Markets Tax Credit program, BWC was able to craft a viable financing solution that met the needs and circumstances of Novus. As a result, the expansion project will position Novus to meet growing demand for our products, create new good-paying jobs in St. Joseph, TN, and boost economic opportunity for the local community. That is what impact sounds and looks like in reality! It is not every day that you come across a firm like BWC that can effectively execute on making a non-traditional project financing such this one possible.
